The festival educate us in such a way that every one could showcase their talent but utilize in different ways and means, they have artise that came and sangs positive songs about peace, education and unity, the impact of Jamaican music and culture reggae culture globally.
They have artise that came and sang dancehall lyrics but at the same time they were all university graduates which was very empowering to the youths. They have artise like Tifa, Agent saco, proteje, keida and lots more.Though humble, tarrus riley and dean fraser are delighted with the responses received, based on the audience singing along word for word, I had the privilege of watching these icons. The singers has a down to earth approach towards the group that they opens up to.They has grown attached to the group that is privy to their personal thoughts.I felt compelled to be apart of this festival and the culture just poured out.
A very unique and honest event, this festival is decidedly not just about entertainment but to exhust the national identity and the arts. This was a journey into authentic Caribbean lifestyle and culture. It’s a wonderful experience once again being at this festival and I look forward to a bigger and better next year. The good vibes and energy from the show was tremendious Hotter Than The Equator. Identitydot.
